Kawakawa is a pretty coastal shrub with heart shaped long stemmed green leaves and an edible fruit with a distinctive tropical taste and contrasting peppery seeds. The heart shaped leaves remind us of the preciousness of ourselves, the land and our native ecosystems. The leaves are hand cut from copper plate, filed, drilled, sanded, and stamped before the red colour is applied. The rounded hooks either hang from round jump rings or are now available as drops (25mm drop large leaves, 20mm drop small leaves).
