Kawakawa is a pretty coastal shrub with heart-shaped long-stemmed green leaves and edible orange fruit with a distinctive tropical taste and contrasting peppery seeds. The heart-shaped leaves remind us of the preciousness of ourselves, the land and our native ecosystems. The leaves are hand cut from silver plate, filed, drilled, sanded, stamped. The hooks are either attached to a soldered curved stem or drop from a straight stem.
Large: standard curved stem 30mm long, drop 43mm.
Small: standard curved stem 20mm long, drop 33mm.
