The impulse to make these silver florets came from a desire to create a three-dimensional form to represent an idea, or form that is tender, and newly opening. Each floret is hand-cut from pure silver plate, stamped, hammered and folded, soldered closed and buffed to give a satin finish. They turn on a stem and swing freely from rounded sterling hooks.
